Detecting the color code of a certain part of an image is a common task for graphic designers, commercial artists and other professionals. Still, it is also quite time-consuming, since it involves several steps and the use of three or four different programs. This little tool allows you to save time by skipping some of those steps.
Once installed, the program appears as an icon on Windows' taskbar. You only need to click and hold the left mouse button and place the mouse pointer on the pixel whose color code you want to obtain. The program will show the precise color code of the pixel you placed your pointer over. When you release the mouse button, the color code will be copied to the clipboard. This way, you can use it in any image editing program, e.g. Adobe Photoshop.
The program can show the color code in the following formats: RGB, HSB, HTML, Hex, Delphi Hex and more. You can configure the program's resolution from 3x3 to 9x9 pixels, and you can set it to load on Windows startup. All in all, it is a very useful program to have if you work a lot with images.
